ACADEMIC INTERESTS : International Development and International Business

When I disembarked from the train in Paris in the chaos of the Gare de Nord, my first thought was “what have I gotten myself into?” Because most of my French language knowledge came from high school, I barely knew any other Stanford students on the trip, and I was very worried that my language skills wouldn’t be up to par.  Within a matter of days, however, I realized that I had made one of the best decisions of my life!

...I took every opportunity to see Paris. I felt so fortunate to even be in the city, so I visited dozens of museums, churches, and monuments with a friend on our day off from school.
